Specialist notes
The calendar is running true. We have verified the leap-year indication, the moon, and the day-date against an independent ephemeris — the boring work that makes a Patek worth taking in.
The previous owner wore it perhaps a dozen times a year. The lugs are unpolished. If you want a perpetual calendar to look at rather than to use, this is not the one; the correctors are meant to be understood.
We will not hold a Patek complication for a client we have not spoken to. The watch is the second conversation, not the first.
Amina Rahman, senior specialist
Unpolished lugs. The leap-year disc is running where it should.
