The piece — studio study of the same object.
An openworked Royal Oak in rose gold. We took it in for the finishing: two hundred-odd edges, including the inward angles a rotating tool cannot reach.

Specialist notes
Openworked Royal Oaks vary. This one has even bevelling on the bridges and no cloudy rhodium, which is the first thing we look for and the last thing a listing photograph will show you.
The tapisserie-less architecture is the point. If you want a standard 15400, we will find you one; this is a different conversation about finishing, not about the octagon.
The inward angle is how you tell. A machine cannot make one, and a listing cannot fake one for long.
Daniel Cole, specialist
The inward angles still catch light. The rhodium has not clouded.
